Hi! I'm Robbie. 

In the decades I’ve spent as an actor and martial artist I’ve worked alongside, trained with and employed amazing people who do amazing things: Stage Combat, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Fencing, Stunts… and on top of all that, they're fantastic actors!

However, every time I ask to see their combat skills (on film! After one headlock too many I learnt to qualify that question) they unfailingly show me either a low-resolution film shot on a phone a few years ago in an echoey sports hall or a slick scene of them kicking ass in slo-mo 4K… but totally unrecognisable in a full suit of armour with a helmet on, visor down and facing away from the camera...

The industry is evolving and adapting, and more and more casting is done from self-tapes and reels. So let's keep your reel current with your abilities and use it to show yourself working to your full potential.

Actors’ Fight Reels brings together trained actor-combatants and stage combat performers (you) with industry experts to collaborate and create professional-quality footage for showreels in a friendly and supportive environment, and then promote your work to the world!

 

Who is it for?

Our Fightreel shoots are designed for people who have already trained in stage combat to at least the level of: 

BADC - level 1

BASSC - Actor Combatant

If you have the skills but not the qualifications: DON'T PANIC! Book one of our Tryouts! 

​

One of our friendly fight team will put you through your paces and make sure you'll be fully prepped to work safely on set.
